Hoffa Calls National Meetings on YRC Concessions
June 12, 2009: The International Union has called national meetings for June 17-18 to discuss further concessions to YRC. On June 17 there will be a meeting of pension fund chairs and administrators, and on June 18 there will be a “mandatory” meeting of union representatives from all local unions with YRC, Holland, or New Penn members.
The announcement of the meeting states it is to give “the most current information available regarding the YRC companies,” and that the International Union “must make some critical decisions” regarding YRC. The meetings will be held in Chicago.

I have nothing left to give. If I did it will never be enough. Zollars could blow all the money in the world if he had it and was allowed to. Back in 94 I remember Zollars saying to Whickam,"I will break the Union" since then every act he has committed has been to do just that. I would like to thank our brother retirees for there long fought battles, to give us what we got. I am sure they didnt let the company whip them, or have them running scared. They were and are proud. That is the way we, as members should do them. Chain the gates, and lets move on. The union hasnt organized CCX, FedEx or anyone else and put them into our pension plan. U.P.S. frt isnt even there, to the best of my knowledge. Last one out shut the lights off
